Rhone, a sportswear brand, has announced Jrue Holiday, a two-time NBA champion and Olympic gold medalist, as its ambassador. Holiday, the winner of the 2023 ESPY Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award, represents Rhone’s commitment to physical well-being while also enhancing the brand’s success in the NBA.

In addition to being Holiday’s off-court lifestyle clothing partner, Rhone will collaborate with him to raise awareness about Mental Fitness and Community. This relationship also demonstrates Holiday’s commitment to community impact through the Jrue & Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund (JLH Fund), which he co-founded with his wife, Olympic Gold Medalist Lauren Holiday. The JLH Fund helps neglected areas across the United States by empowering entrepreneurs and promoting economic growth. To support this purpose, Rhone will make a donation to the JLH Fund, reinforcing its commitment to positively impacting over 100 million lives.
“We’re thrilled to be welcoming Jrue to Rhone,” said Rhone CEO Nate Checketts. “Jrue’s continuous devotion to community and well-being is completely consistent with Rhone’s objective. This collaboration provides an amazing chance to strengthen our relationship with the NBA community while also contributing to real change through the JLH Fund.”
Holiday’s experiences as an outstanding athlete, husband, and father have given him a unique perspective on the importance of mental fitness. Holiday epitomizes Rhone’s activism by surviving injuries and navigating his wife’s health struggle. Through this collaboration, he will share his personal narrative on Rhone’s platforms, motivating others to prioritize both their emotional and physical wellbeing.
“It’s an honor to partner with Rhone,” said Jrue Holiday. “Their commitment to community and their focus on inspiring others to be their best selves is truly unique in the apparel industry. I’m excited to work together to drive meaningful change.”
Building on Rhone’s previous cooperation with the NBA and Kevin Love, which included a donation to The Kevin Love Fund, this news marks another key milestone in Rhone’s collaboration with the league. Rhone released its Licensed NBA Commuter Shirts in December, featuring designs from all 30 NBA teams. Looking ahead to NBA All-Star 2025 in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rhone will offer an engaging engagement at NBA Crossover in the Moscone Center on February 14-16, perfectly integrating its fundamental pillars of physical and mental fitness.
Adding Jrue Holiday as a brand ambassador marks the latest chapter in Rhone’s expanding connection with the NBA, supporting common ideals of mental fitness and community on and off the court.
