London Fashion Week AW 26/27: Review of the The Most Striking Collections from London’s Runways

London’s fashion scene dazzles once again as our editorial team selects the most striking A/W 26/27 collections showcased during London Fashion Week.

His Majesty King Charles III officially opened London Fashion Week at the Tolu Coker Show. His Majesty presence brought the ultimate prestige to the show and energized the entire event, enhancing the momentum of London Fashion Week. The Coker collection was memorable for its colorful and energetic palette, dominated by bright tomato red, lime yellow, blue houndstooth and dynamic checks.

The atmosphere of a dark autumn forest, corset and tailoring art combined with tinsel and crystal textiles boldly merged, created the unforgettable atmosphere during the Agro Studio Runway Show. Definitely echoing Chanel’s iconic autumn forest runway of 2018 by Karl Lagerfeld, much more than this year’s forest and mushroom themed Haute Couture debut of Matthieu Blazy.

From the autumn forest we are transferred to the 1990s Irish pub, where the atmosphere of London nightlife comes alive in bright, bold and expressive dessgnes featured at Sinead Gorey’s Show.

Asymmetrical details, modular elements, balanced color depth, an atmosphere of movement and themes of adaptability to life – all of this emphasizes the concept behind Charlie Constantinou’s collection.

Romantic and contemporary aesthetics, lace, satin, tulle, jacquard, metallic threads and feathers were combined into dynamic, luxurious designs, demanding to be felt. The Erdem collection totally conquered my heart.

Pauline Dujancourt’s collection at LFW A/W 26/27 became a meditative and symbolic tribute to women’s craftsmanship, history and resilience, expressed through exquisite knitting skills and a metaphor-rich runway experience.

The energy of a party that never ends, a feeling of true freedom combined with luxurious glamour – this is what sets the Conner Ives collection apart from the rest.

Aristocratic sophistication, ascetic almost medieval scenography, wooden cabinets decorated with mirrors, a combination of fashion and immersive theater, knitted accessories and luxurious touch define Oscar Ohuyang’s collection.

London Fashion Week A/W 26/27 showcased a vibrant mix of storytelling, craftsmanship and nightlife energy, with standout shows from Agro Studio, Sinead Gorey, Tolu Coker, Charlie Constantinou, Erdem, Pauline Dujancourt, Conner Ives, and Oscar Ouyang, combining captivating contrasts, bold textures and rich cultural narratives. From forest-inspired installations and 90s Irish pubs to theatrical aristocratic parties and nightlife glamour. This season celebrated creativity, tolerance and heritage with a touch of contemporary and light-hearted charm.
