Philipp Plein, Fall 2025: Cowboy fantasy in the Big West

Philipp Plein, the award-winning German fashion designer, has once again demonstrated that fashion is about more than simply garments. For the autumn 2025 season, he transported his audience to the American West, delivering a collection that blended elegance with the wild spirit of country. The exhibition took place in his new Milan hotel and restaurant complex, which marks the brand’s expansion into Albania, Dubai, Monaco, and Miami.

Fashion in the saddle

Plein delivered an unforgettable performance, as he usually does. Models not only walked the runway, but were also urged to climb off and ride a bucking bronco, lending the performance a true rodeo vibe. The ambiance was reminiscent of a neon western, complete with glitz and luxury. Busta Rhymes’ performance further spiced up the atmosphere, with the rapper complimenting Plein’s flair and hailing him as the “king of fashion”.

Country meets glamour

Post Malone, a musician that merges hip-hop and country, served as inspiration for the collection, which matches Plein’s notion of fashion as a cultural element that fosters identity and community. The designer opted to incorporate a touch of country into his stylings, resulting in vibrant, flashy clothes. The models wore tiny, sparkly little dresses (some with images of Bambi), knee-high boots, and crystal-studded cowboy hats. There were also plenty of emerald suits, leather skirts, striped coats, and quilted models covered in sequins. One of the most eye-catching fashions was a sequined replica of the American flag, which was Plein’s tribute to American ease and lifestyle.

Expansion beyond runway

Philipp Plein is not limited to fashion; his latest investment in hospitality places is another step toward creating his “own community”. As he himself underlines, luxury in today’s environment extends beyond clothing to cover the complete lifestyle. The hotel in Milan is just the beginning, with Miami and other cities eagerly anticipating Plein’s next grandiose projects.

His most recent collection is a tribute to American rural style, but in its most gleaming and beautiful form. One thing is certain: Philipp Plein has once again crafted a show that will be remembered in the fashion industry for a long time.
